Education Needs a Digital Upgrade

              In the article, the author of the article feels strongly towards technology. She feels that we need to stop looking at technology in the classroom as a negative thing. This is because technology is rapidly growing and it's basically all the future will be. So the sooner you teach the students to use it, the easier the adjustment will be.
              I personally think that the use of technology can be a good thing. I do think that students become too reliant on it but I think that when teachers bring it into the classroom, they mean well with it. The author of the article is blatantly right as sad as it may be to some people but the future IS technology whether people like it or not. The sooner you teach the younger generations to use it will be a good thing. You can also teach them that technology doesn't have to be just for social matters.

This image is how I feel classroom teaching/learning should be when technology is involved. The teacher is right there front and center with students helping them interact and learn with the screen. The screen shows them images and it also allows them to write on the board to not only help the students up there but also the students sitting in their desks. It helps them learn visually and by hands on work.
